SERVICES.

As professionals in the field, we are well-versed in researching, writing, & speaking about art in any medium, period, or movement with your specific project in mind. We provide you with an outline, written article, bibliography, or a customized format based on your project. We aim to create a bespoke experience for our clients instead of a one-size-fits-all approach.

We offer a range of art services in addition to art consultancy & advising, including but not limited to the following.

  • REPORTS.

Research & deep-dive information are necessary & enhanced tools for your collection. As independent researchers, we will create a report on the artists & works in your collection. Your final result is a sleek dossier filled with information about the works that provide history & context to your collection, & enhance the storytelling elements of each work. Whether for professional purposes or your private files, reports are an important step in understanding the artwork & discovering your collecting habits, tendencies, & the throughline in your style. If desired, we can organize this information into a catalogue, which can be printed, bound, & added to your library.

  • PRESENTATIONS.

Since 2007, our team has created & presented lectures for groups, such as alumni organizations, corporate team building, keynote addresses, & social functions. We have experience in both virtual & in-person spaces, & can speak to one person or groups of 100 people & higher. We can create a presentation for you, including building the visual elements, writing or outlining your material, or speaking at your function. We have the flexibility & knowledge to wear many hats in public speaking.

  • ESSAYS & EDITING.

Writing is challenging for even the most accomplished. With a PhD & MFA, we are scholars who have completed articles for exhibition catalogues & publications. We are fluent in editing & formatting in art, & understand the rigor needed to complete a written piece. We are thorough editors who can spot microscopic errors in grammar, spelling, footnotes/endnotes, & bibliographies. Our abilities allow you to focus on the intellectual, creative, & conceptual elements of your writing.

  • LIBRARY.

A reference library is a go-to for any art professional & enthusiast; it helps you understand your collection & the history, society, & culture in which artwork is created. With our support & assistance, we work together to build your library to suit your interests & add to the intellectual spirit of your style. We also deal in rare books & manuscripts, & help clients find these works, discuss purchasing options, & provide instruction on how to archivally store & present these materials.

  • PROPOSALS.

Curators, artists, & art-industry professionals often need proposals to pitch future projects for public art, grants, & other opportunities. We have immense training in proposal writing, especially in applications for grants. We can wear the administrator’s hat for you and take the pressure off. For artists, this gives you more time in the studio & less time stuck at your computer. For curators & other art professionals, this frees you up to concentrate on current & future projects, & allows you to expend energy toward the work you enjoy.

  • ARTIST STATEMENTS.

We know the task of writing your own artist statement is daunting. With a professional artist on our team, we have over 15 years of experience in providing polished & intellectual statements on art. After an initial consultation, we pour over your website, past exhibitions & articles, & artwork documentation to connect the dots between histories, philosophies, & styles as they relate to your work. Our main goal is accessibility; your statement should speak to a wide range of audiences without using art jargon that only industry insiders can understand.
